These fit very well on me, extremely comfortable - and the ankles are wide, but that works for me. Definitely would order again. Edited to add: I bought the both colors and I'm returning a third time to get another sand color to have as a newer pair for dressier occasions since I've worn these daily, this is my go to pair of sandals, just love them. The sand is my favorite but I like the brown for jeans. These shoes are so pretty. If you have ankles the size of an elephant's they may work. They fit in the length, but the ankle strap was about 1" too long and they looked ridiculous. I'm sure it would have been a problem if I had tried to walk around in them. Maybe I got a defective pair?I Wore them almost ever day on vacation and they still look and feel great. Were a summer staple, like other Ecco shoes I own, they last the test of time.I have thin ankles so I find the shoe loose in the ankle area and I'm not able to tighten them to be snugBeautifully constructed, soft leather, comfortable sole, true to length. But the ankle is way too roomy -- the smallest notch isn't nearly enough to get the straps to lay flat against my ankle. Had to return these.I bought these in the Sand colour, a terrific neutral beige that goes with everything. I can't tell you how much I love them. They are perfect in every way except one: no arch support. I have several Ecco sandals and they all have this problem. I stick in gel arches, which last a summer or so, but with Ecco's superior footbed you'd think they could throw in an arch support too! I love the style and colour of these sandals, which needed minimal breaking in.Personally, I don't agree with the above review - the big buckles look stylish and make my ankles look thinner. Also, I can slip them on and off without undoing them. The shoes are super-lightweight and flexible and fit to a T. Time to get the brown ones too!I have a lot of shoes, but my favorite - that this model! They are very beautiful and comfortable, I wear them for two years and in the city and in the countryside.
