Works great!!This was well made and very easy to use. Now my granddaughter can tumble and flip in safety.This was a Christmas present for my 7 year old daughter. Really disappointed in the quality. The mat is tearing apart. It is used in our playroom for practicing cartwheels, handstands and walkovers. I would not recommend this mat at all.I like that this Gymnastics mat has handles that allow my 7 yr old to pull the mat out from its spot and lay it in the living room when she wants to tumble. It's 4 feet wide so her wonky tumbles stay on the mat! I like the velcro that reduces slipping / movement but given the cats and dogs in this house I need to figure out how to clean the velcro now! A little tricky for her to fold up and put away on her own but otherwise a tumbling dream for this novice tumbler.We bought this mat for my little gymnast a couple of months ago, and it has been so worth the investment! My kids love playing on it, but most importantly, it is plenty big enough and thick/soft enough that my daughter is able to practice her backbend kickovers and handstands over and over and over without getting hurt. We have stone floors, and really needed a safe space for my gymnastics obsessed daughter. This mat is exactly what we needed.At first it was good but eventually the top black fabric started to stretch and wear out too easily. It’s not smooth anymore. I have other black gymnastic mat and it remains strong and sturdy. I wouldn’t get this again until they improve the fabric quality.Grand kids loved the mat. Played on it all day Christmas. Great size and thicknessIt is exactly as it is described for sale.
